The Viper gives the simplicity and speed advantage of a dot sight, while co-witnessing with iron sights. The trade off? Nothing. The 6 MOA dot diameter gets on target fast. Fully multi-coated, ultra-clear lens offers a wide, unobstructed field of view. The left-side up/down power and illumination controls are easy to access and manipulate. Recessed 1 MOA windage and elevation adjustments are super clean, protected from incidental contact, and always at the ready. It runs on a CR 2032 battery. The Viper comes with a Picatinny mount-weighs 2.1 ounces with mount. 6 MOA Dot ReticleThe daylight bright red dot is easy to see and paints targets regardless of lighting conditions or background. Up to 150 hours of use at highest setting. Use at the more common lower settings can allow up to 30,000 hours. Windage and Elevation AdjustmentThe Viper features adjustable elevation and windage dials with 1 MOA marks. To adjust the elevation and windage settings: 1. Loosen both Adjustment Lock 1½ turns. 2. Adjust dials up or down or left or right as indicated by arrows. 3. Re-tighten both locks after making adjustments. Mounting the ViperThe Viper red dot is shipped from the factory with a low rail mount that clamps to both a Weaver or Picatinny rail. 1. Attach the low rail mount to the Viper using the included hardware. 2. Attach the Viper to the Picatinny base rail, making sure the recoil lug is solidly seated in the base groove. 3. Check to see that the clamp is fully down and hooked around the outside of the base. 4. Press the Viper down and forward and using the supplied hex wrench, firmly tighten down the clamp. In addition to the supplied low rail mount, an optional riser mount is included. | |
